12/15/09 Jill and Shannon Visit - Day 6

Tuesday was the last day of Jill and Shannon's Hawaiian Vacation. They woke up early and went surfing with Tony.

After surfing, Jill and Shannon went shopping for a few hours in Waikiki. They did some good work! We drove the girls to the airport, and we were very sad to see them go! We had a really great week with lots of new adventures, and some gorgeous pictures to show for it!

Thanks for visiting, we can't wait 'til next time!!

After the airport, Tony and I went to Ala Moana mall to finish up some Christmas shopping, and run some errands. Time to catch up on some naps, tv and xbox!!

Dave & Buster's

When Tony got home from work yesterday, we headed over to the Ward Warehouse, where Dave & Buster's is located.

We walked over to a row of shops next to the parking lot - and I think I have found my new favorite shop - Second Skin. It is a small shop, selling both Men's and Women's clothes - I bought two adorable dresses - very plain, dress up dresses... They come in EVERY color! They had great accessories and jeans as well. The guy working was VERY friendly and very helpful! Can't wait to go back!

After the little shopping excursion we walked over to D&B. When you walk in it looks identical to the White Flint D&B - except this one is three floors, including a rooftop bar.

We finally both defeated "Flaming Finger" - both hitting the jackpot.

I beat Tony at Big Buck Hunter...

And Tony beat EVERYONE in Basketball...

We had a really great time, but Rusty was very excited when we got home!

We have an appointment to look at an apartment this evening - wish us luck!

Last night we took a walk to the beach to see if the water in Waikiki was at all effected by the Tsunami that hit American Samoa. There were barely any waves here - although all day yesterday beachgoers were told to stay out of the water because of the tides. We took a picture on the beach but it was too dark to see the water in the picture. Rusty is a little bug-eyed because he wouldn't look at the camera and had to be "forced" to.

We ran into Senor Frog on the way back... Rusty was VERY confused.

And for all of you Louis lovers out there - this is right down the street from where we live! Just a few short blocks away!! :) You wouldn't believe the shopping around here --- Louis, Burberry, Prada, Kate Spade...

Rusty and I are getting ready to take a walk to Puka Dog for lunch! Aloha!
