Paradise Cover Luau

Last night we went to the Paradise Cove Luau. Transportation was included from Waikiki and it took about 30-40 minutes to get there.

When we first arrived, we were greeted with Leis and then we got our picture taken with two of the Luau dancers, which we ended up buying at the end of the night - really cute picture.

We were shown to our seats, and then we were off to roam the Luau site. Of course, we started with the "games of skill" in the Hawaiian Village...

After testing our skills, we made a lei bracelet and then we weaved Hawaiian Headbands. Check out our good work! Flowers on the Left made you are TAKEN and Flowers on the Right mean you are SINGLE and Ready to Mingle... After seeing Tony's weaving skills the Headband lady told me I could always flip mine over so the flowers are on the right. But I would NEVER!

After that, I got my new Polynesian Tattoo - I couldn't decide between a Flower and a Turtle - so we did both!

After getting tatted up it was time for the Luau Buffet - which included Kalua Pig (which they unearthed from the underground oven in the Imu Ceremony - but we missed it), Fried Chicken for the Mainlanders, Egg Battered Mahi Mahi, White Rice, and lots of other stuff... We didn't go home hungry!

Then it was time for the show!

The Wedding Hula

The Hula with Fire was really exciting....

We had a really great time at the Luau! Enjoy the pictures!
