Saturday night we went to Tiki's Grill & Bar finally. This restaurant was right down the street from the Hilton Prince Kuhio and we were saving it for a good sunset dinner. We walked down to Waikiki beach and ended up watching the sunset on the beach. It was gorgeous as always!!

oops forgot to zoom back out...

When we got to Tiki's there was no outside seating left - they were on reservation only - which I unfortunately didn't realize they were on www.opentable.com. We sat down and looked over the menu. We were a little disappointed because there wasn't anything really different from what we have been eating. We were thinking of getting an appetizer and then leaving, but there wasn't really an appetizer that we wanted either. We asked our super nice waitress, Nikki, what she reccomended. I said I liked seafood, but was not in the mood for fish. She said that they Scallops were one of the best things on the menu. Tony and I decided to share the Scallops and the Filet. Good choice. The Scallops were REALLY good, but every time we both eat scallops we have the Ben's Next Door scallops on a pedastool and nothing seems to compare. The filet was a bit charred for a Medium Rare steak, but was still pretty good. The whole experience would have been much better had we had an outdoor table to watch the sunset.

On Sunday morning we were able to watch the Raven's game on TV - although it was an extremely frustrating ending it was very exciting to watch on TV, at "home"!  Tony went surfing in the afternoon, and we did our Sunday ritual of food shopping at Safeway that evening. Lots of yummy dinners to be had this week.
